Texas Tavern / Happy's Flea Market

The Texas Tavern a Roanoke land mark. An all night diner that hops between the hours of midnight and 3am. Sort of like Schwartz's in Montreal, only the staff is surlier and the food is greasier.

The burgers cook in about 2cm of grease by 2am

Happy's Flea Market is an experience all to its own. It has to be seen to be believed. They have a permanent indoor section as well as an outdoor section.

Records, nothing but records as far as the eye could see

Another hallway of records. There was a second store in addition to this that had just as many records

Roanoke Fair

So many adventures in Virginia, many will never be forgotten. I am home now, still trying to get everything sorted out.

Went to the Roanoke fair, it was fun. Although, the smaller town, Salem, that is right next to Roanoke has a much better fair about two months later.

This band had two volumes:
1) Setting up their equipment
