Vive le Québec

Quebec, the old fort. One of the earliest permanent North American settlements founded by Europeans. Spent a weekend there in between tourist seasons.

Assemblée nationale du Québec

Cannon guarding Quebec from invaders (Americans?) from the south shore of the St. Lawrence

Ferries crossing the St. Lawrence between Quebec and the south shore.

Chateau Frontenac

Fire damaged old armoury

Some icicles

Chutes Montmorency

Some Quebec nationalist graffiti, written in quebec baby blue or course. Nothing like defacing your home base to make your point.

This one, nominally scrubbed out, says "Canadians Go Home"

No need to scrub this one out, only the acronym for a quebec nationalist group responsible for two murders in the 1960's
